Flag Etiquette For Memorial Day

With Memorial Day right around the corner we as Americans are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice many of our fellow Americans made in defense of freedom. For the first time since veteran's day we brush off our flag and proudly display it as a sign of respect for the fallen. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind: 1. On Memorial Day, the flag is at half staff until noon then raised to full staff for the rest of the day. 2. A flag should not be flying at night unless it has a light on it. 3. The flag should never touch the ground. 4. The flag is always positioned on it's own right. So if two flags were next to each other, looking at them from the front, the US flag would be on the left.
