Shawn Murphy GRI SRES

Shawn is the principal broker at Ferndale Realty. He received his start over a decade ago flipping residential properties and land. He is a proud veteran of the war in Afghanistan, a Minnesota native, and avid outdoorsman. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Thomas and a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He also holds a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation and Senior Real Estate Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors. He is licensed in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Shawn holds a significant rental portfolio and understands the risks and rewards associated with commercial and residential investment properties. He is considered an expert in Multi-Unit Housing (MUH) and Licensed Beverage Establishments (LBEs) and serves on the state association’s risk management committee. Shawn is a Champion member of the National Park Foundation, sustaining member of the Western National Park Association and active in the Boy Scouts of America. He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Reserve Officers Association.
