It is a patchwork of cities in the Twin Cities that requirement a Truth In Sale of Housing inspection (or pre-inspection) of your home. Furthermore some cities require single family homes while other require all types such as condos, townhomes, etc. Here is a list of cities that require some form of TISH prior to sale: Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Richfield, Bloomington, South Saint Paul, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Maplewood, New Hope, Robbinsdale, and Saint Louis Park.
